Throughout the winter season, Team East Lothian Athletics Club typically hosts a number of opportunities for cross-country and trail running competition in the beautiful East Lothian Countryside. In past years venues have included Binning Wood, Foxlake Adventures, John Muir Country Park, and Whitekirk Hill. The events are usually held with all ages catered for across a variety of distances, from Under-9s all the way through to seniors and veterans.
Events are advertised via this website, Twitter and Facebook, and through the scottishathletics calendar. The events are held under UK Athletics rules and are Scottish Athletics permitted events. Entries are usually registered through EntryCentral.
East Lothian Championships
One of the Team East Lothian hosted events will be designated as the East Lothian Championships for that year. All athletes who are either an East Lothian athletics club member or are East Lothian resident will be included in the East Lothian Championships. There will be an East Lothian Champion for each age category.
