The fourth race of the Borders Cross Country Series took place in muddy and freezing conditions in Peebles on Sunday.
Ninety-seven juniors took to the slippy and flooded course at Hay Lodge Park with Olivia Robbins (12-13) first female over the line and first in her age category in a time of 9m46s.
Robbie Anderson (16-17) took first East Lothian position, first in his age category and third overall after gaining two places with a spectacular, uphill, sprint finish in a time of 8m46s.
Aidan Page (12-13) secured second East Lothian position, second in his age category and eighth overall in 8m59s with Angus Chandler (14-15) third East Lothian athlete and fourteenth overall in 9m18s.
Other noteworthy performances were from Jack Renton (12-13) 18th; Jamie Smith (12-13) 19th; Stella McGregor (12-13) 42nd; Roisin Napier (12-13) 69th and Sadie Slifer (TEL 12-13) 97th.
The adults took to a longer, more challenging course over difficult terrain with several water features. Joe Donnelly secured second East Lothian position, 13thoverall and third Male Junior in 27m39s.
