Great news over the weekend as Cera Gemmell won Gold for Scotland in the U17 Woman’s race at a bright, but chilly, Celtic Cross Country event, part of the 41st annual Antrim International Cross Country in Antrim, Northern Ireland on Saturday.
In a combined U17 and U20s race, Cera finished 3rd overall, with two other Scottish U20 runners ahead of her to create a Scottish 1-2-3. The event as a whole was dominated by Scottish success as the team took team gold medals across 5 of the 6 races and a host of individual event medals.
