Well done to the 15 TEL athletes ( and parents ) who made the long journey to Aberdeen for last weekend’s 4J Scottish Athletics U/13, U/15 and U/20 Track and Field Championships.
It was great to see so many Purple and Blue vests competing and doing so well amongst Scotland’s best age group athletes.

On Saturday 12 TEL athletes competed and amongst some great performances and Personal Best achievements there were also Bronze Medals for Imogen Turner, U/15 1500m, Madison Taylor U/15G Triple Jump and Zak Fearn who won a bronze medal in the U/20 Pole Vault and followed it up with Gold in the U/20 Javelin.
On Sunday 3 TEL athletes represented their club. Ella Nicholson and Fraser Lupton ran in the U/20 1500m races. Both ran well and Fraser qualified for his final but unfortunately had to withdraw through injury.
Our other competitor on Sunday was our sole U/13, Adam Connolly who performed well in both the 100m and 1500m events but excelled in the U/13 Boys High Jump where he equaled his PB and came away with TEL’s second GOLD medal of the weekend. Well done, Adam.
Thanks to Rosemary, Beth and the amazing Bobby Gavin for the great photos.

The one with the four girls, Poppy, Kate, Madison and Abi highlights some of the performances over the weekend. Poppy ran an equal PB in her 200m Semi-Final and the other 3 girls had a triple set of triple jump PB’s topped off with Madison’s fantastic bronze medal.
