Indoor Age Group champs were held on Saturday 7th February – Sunday 8th March at the Emirates. We had a fantastic turnout with 7 athletes competing.

The U16 events were on the Saturday, U14 on the Sunday and U20 split across both days.

U16

Poppy Ward, Erin Porter, Abi Campbell and Kate Douglas represented TEL at this age group with Poppy and Erin reaching the finals in shot putt and long jump respectively.

Poppy reached the final in the shot putt, finishing 5^th with a great PB of 9.64. She also ran the 60m in 8.78, just missing out on the semi finals.

Erin reached the final of the long jump, finishing 5^th with a distance of 4.99.

Abi was 6^th in the triple jump with a distance of 8.82. She achieved a PB of 4.24 in the long jump finishing 15^th and was 16^th in the 300m with a time of 48.53.

Kate finished 8^th in the triple jump with a distance of 8.42, 20^th in the shot putt with a throw of 5.75 and 23^rd in the long jump with a distance of 3.85.

U14

Adam Connolly and Carly Douglas represented TEL at U14 with Adam winning a tremendous gold medal in the high jump.

Adam won gold in the high jump with a height of 1.48. He also ran the 200m finishing 10^th with a PB of 28.89.

Carly finished 20^th in the shot with a throw of 4.92, 28^th in the long jump with a PB of 3.31 and 47^th in the 60m with a time of 10.09.

U20

Leo McGlogan was our sole representative at this age group.

Leo finished 25^th in the 200m with a PB of 25.87 and also competed in the 400m.
