The Scottish Schools Outdoor championships were held on Friday 12^th and Saturday the13^th of June at Grangemouth stadium. We had 8 athletes competing.

U16 boys

Tom Ibbs had a great run in the 1500m with a PB of 4:17.36 and gained a silver medal.

U16 girls

Poppy Ward got to the final in shot put and finished 5^th with a distance of 9.26m. She also  threw the javelin 16.25m to finish 12^th.

Erin Porter got to the final in long jump and finished 7^th with a distance of 5m, just short of her PB.

Abi Campbell PB’d in long jump with a distance of 4.49m to finish in 13^th place. She also ran the 100m in a time of 13:97 to finish 31^st.

Kate Douglas jumped 3.94m, just outside her PB to finish 29^th. She also finished 15^th in shot put with a distance of 5.27m

U18 men

Joe Smith got to the final in 1500m and finished 6^th with a time of 4:18.48.

Ben Anderson qualified for the semis in the 100m and ran a PB of 11.73

U18 women

Heidi Nicholson ran a PB of 1:03.93 in the 400m to finish 13^th.
