Back to Track (and Field) is a new session from Team East Lothian, designed to target those who have previously competed in Athletics and want to return. Whether you stopped to have children, suffered injury, made a career move, whatever the reason, now is the time to rekindle your love of Athletics.
Back to Track (and Field) sessions will be designed to build back your fitness in a progressive manner and in a safe environment. The coaches will work to design programmes based on your needs and assist with any strength and conditioning work you may require such as pelvic floor exercises or hamstring strengthening exercises. Along with the great physical benefits, we aim to provide a social element too with a WhatsApp group, some squad Open Graded competitions and social events. Sessions are also open to those who already run but wish to develop themselves on the track.
Come and join a group of likeminded people to train hard, blether hard and see what you can achieve.
Sessions will start the week beginning the 2nd of May at Meadowmill Athletics Arena. Sessions times are to be confirmed – we want as many as possible to attend to attend, therefore, the form below details a range of possible times and the most popular slots will be selected and announced prior to the start date.
